Wan Chai Methodist Centre for the Seniors held the "Caring for Our Motherland" event on 2 July 2025. The several guests supported (List in No Particular Order), including Wan Chai District Council Members, Mr. Lee Man Lung, MH, Ms. Lee Pik Yee, MH and Mr. Ng Chak Sum, Headmistress of Hennessy Road Government Primary School Ms. Leung Ching Yee and Methodist Centre General Secretary, Ms. Sandy Wong.

To celebrate the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the event featured wonderful performances, including the elder MJ Band, a sign language team from the Methodist Centre, the establishment ceremony for the Methodist Ambassadors, and a panda fan-making activity. The event attracted over 200 participants, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
