Purpose

  1. The Methodist HEYA Physiotherapy Community Service is a specialized center that focuses on providing sports rehabilitation and pain treatment using professional sports medicine.
  2. The income generated by this service is used to develop community medical and employment support services that benefit the community.
  3. We hire graduates who have completed the Physiotherapy Assistant Course and have passed the assessment.
  4. We offer discounted rates to corporate employers who provide employment opportunities for people in need.
  5. This helps promote the provision of employment opportunities to those who require assistance.

Service Scope

Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Pain Management:

Including treatment for fractures, post-surgery rehabilitation, occupational tendon injuries, pain management, and ultrasound bone density testing.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation and Exercise Training:

This includes treatment for sports-related injuries, sports-specific training support, and fitness assessments.

Neurological Rehabilitation:

This involves rehabilitation for conditions such as stroke, Parkinson's disease, and dementia.

Respiratory Physiotherapy:

This encompasses treatment for conditions such as pneumonia and asthma, cardiac rehabilitation, and chest physiotherapy for phlegm clearance.

Occupational Safety Assessment and Recommendations

Professional Training and Community Education:

Including Rehabilitation Worker Training, Health Workshops, etc.

Home Visit Service:

Including Home-Based/Institution-Based Physiotherapy, Home Environment Improvement, Equipment Provision, etc.
