Methodist Centre has participated in the “Caregiver Support Project,” sponsored by the Simon K.Y. Lee Foundation since 2019. After six years of dedication, “Caregiver Support Project 2.0” has trained CSM seed social workers through the mentor-training model, extending the “case management” approach to handle caregiver cases. Additionally, this project has trained PPE seed social workers and caregiver mentors to implement the Psycho-education Program on Empowerment, helping caregivers rediscover the meaning of caregiving through peer support intervention approaches.
