In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Methodist Centre's Elderly and Health Services, we were honoured to have Ms. Siu Kin-Heung, the District Social Welfare Officer (Eastern & Wan Chai) of the Social Welfare Department, officiate our seminar and witness our achievements over the past four decades.

On 30 May 2025, Eastern District Council Member Mr. Lam Wing Cheung and Wan Chai Youth Association Chairperson Ms. Sung Chih Ling, along with the Wan Chai Care Team members, visited the Wan Chai District Elderly Community Centre. They brought self-wrapped rice dumplings and seasonal fruits for the elders.
The S+ Summit cum Expo was successfully held on May 20-21, 2025. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and explored the services of the Methodist Centre. Special thanks to our corporate partners for their invaluable support!
We are proud to announce that the Methodist Centre has received the Gold Award and the Elderly-Friendly Award in the Digital Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2024-2025!
A symposium on safeguarding national security for Hong Kong’s social welfare sector, jointly organised by the Labour and Welfare Bureau, the Social Welfare Department and Connecting Hearts, was held on 8 April. Our General Secretary, Ms Sindy Wong represented Methodist Centre at the symposium.
